AI Narrative Analysis
Tracked five branded searches and reviewed how the controversy appeared, how the answers were structured, and which sources supported the AI-generated narrative.
Anonymous AI Reputation Management Case Study
SEO Image helped shift how Google AI Mode summarized a founder and prominent digital consumer brand, reducing the visibility of an outdated controversy while strengthening coverage of current intellectual property, new work, and company developments.
Campaign Overview
A prominent founder and digital consumer brand faced a persistent reputation issue in Google AI Mode. A controversy from 2022 appeared as a dedicated section across all five tracked branded searches involving the founder, company, and product.
The objective was not to alter lawful third-party reporting or claim direct control over Google’s AI responses. SEO Image developed an AI-first reputation management strategy designed to strengthen the web’s current and authoritative understanding of the founder and brand. The campaign focused on replacing an outdated, controversy-led narrative with more relevant information about intellectual property, current projects, and recent company activity.

The Challenge
Google AI Mode repeatedly treated the older controversy as a defining part of the founder and brand. It appeared across all five monitored searches and was often presented within its own labeled section rather than as limited historical context.
The problem extended beyond one webpage or one traditional ranking. AI systems were synthesizing information from multiple sources and reinforcing the same narrative across searches involving the individual, company, and product.
The AI ORM Strategy
The campaign combined AI reputation management with traditional SEO and authority development. Rather than relying on one new page, SEO Image worked across multiple existing and newly developed assets to strengthen the information AI systems could discover, compare, and summarize.
Tracked five branded searches and reviewed how the controversy appeared, how the answers were structured, and which sources supported the AI-generated narrative.
Identified the older sources reinforcing the controversy and the stronger current sources that could support a more complete understanding of the founder and brand.
Strengthened the relationship between the founder, company, product, intellectual property, and current work so the entities were interpreted within a more accurate context.
Developed and promoted credible information focused on current projects, intellectual property, professional activity, and newer company developments.
Optimized important assets and supported them with internal linking, external authority, profile development, and broader search visibility.
Repeated the same tracked searches over time to measure whether the controversy remained a dedicated section, became less prominent, or disappeared.
AI Reputation Management Results
At the start of the campaign, all five monitored Google AI Mode searches surfaced the 2022 controversy. After three months, three of the five tracked searches no longer displayed it. Two months later, the improvement had expanded to four of the five searches as the campaign matured.
The controversy appeared across every monitored search involving the founder, company, or product, often within a dedicated AI-generated section.
Within the initial three-month campaign, the controversy was absent from three of the five tracked AI responses.
As the work matured, four of the five monitored searches no longer surfaced the controversy, and the dedicated controversy section had disappeared from those responses.
The result was not simply the absence of one negative section. AI Mode increasingly emphasized the client’s intellectual property, current projects, recent work, and newer company developments.
Older controversy-related material became far less prominent within the monitored answers. The founder and brand were increasingly represented through what they were building and doing now rather than being defined primarily by a years-old issue.
Results reflect repeated monitoring of a defined five-query set. AI-generated responses can vary by platform, prompt, location, model, and date.
Campaign Impact
Before the campaign, the older controversy repeatedly shaped how AI Mode introduced and summarized the client. After sustained work, the monitored responses gave substantially more attention to the founder’s intellectual property, current projects, and ongoing company activity.
This created a more balanced and current AI search presence without claiming to erase historical reporting or control the platform. The campaign improved the source environment and narrative signals that AI systems used when forming answers.
Why the Campaign Worked
The work focused on how AI systems classified and summarized the client, not only on moving traditional blue links.
Credible information about intellectual property, new work, and company developments gave AI systems a more relevant source environment.
The campaign improved from three cleared searches after three months to four after five months, showing how AI reputation work can continue to strengthen as sources are recrawled and reweighted.
Understanding AI ORM Results
Google AI Mode and other generative platforms can change their answers based on the wording of a search, newly discovered sources, model updates, user context, and other variables. This case study reflects a controlled set of five searches monitored over time.
SEO Image does not guarantee that an AI platform will remove a topic or produce a particular answer. AI reputation management improves the accuracy, authority, relevance, and availability of the information that may influence how a person or company is summarized.
SEO Image can review how Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other AI platforms describe your company or leadership, then identify the sources and narrative issues that may be shaping those answers.
